The Irish Cancer Society’s direct marketing program centres on our Garden of Hope campaign in March. Because of this, we invested in a mailing list from DataXcel. We were able to order a bespoke list, matching exactly our donor profile, and receiving the number of donors we wanted to test the mailing on. The contact information we received was accurate, and up to date, and we had almost no returned mail. Our response rate was higher than budgeted, and the average gift rate bettered two thirds of our own database, and bettered the average gift of the inserts we ran in national magazines. We were delighted with the help and service we received from DataXcel who were very easy to work with. We were thrilled with the results, and will definitely work with them again.
