Would You Support A National Suppression File For Ireland

I recently joined the board of the IDMA and along with numerous tasks promoting best codes of practise and data compliance education events I am tasked with developing a national suppression file which would include the MPS (Mail Preference Service) along with other industry relevant suppression data files. We are focussed on providing all data marketers the ability to exclude consumers who have indicated a desire not to receive marketing communications in order to further improve your data compliance responsibilities. We are actively developing codes of practise around this area and recently built in a code of practise around the use of the MPS into the newly launched postcode system in Ireland namely ‘eircode’ .
