In this brief overview of the EU GDPR, Hugh Jones will suggest the ‘Ten-step Prep” – ten areas on which any organisation can focus, in order to prepare for the challenges of the new Regulation.  It is the first in a series of events in which the IDMA will work with its members and the wider marketing community to prepare in more detail for the impending legislative changes.

I will be Joining Hugh Jones on the day and will present a case study of what a Data Audit entails, how to prepare and how to best process the recommendations of the DP commissioner to ensure full compliance.

We will also update the market on the latest developments with the nationalpostal suppression file known as the MPS, how to access and download updates and the plans to add deceased data.
